There are 51,993 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, against 63,815 yesterday and, above all, 53,253 last Sunday: therefore, a situation of total stability continues.
The processed swabs are 334,224 (yesterday 422,482) with a positivity rate that rises from 15.1% to 15.6%. The deaths are 85 (yesterday 133): the total victims since the beginning of the epidemic thus rise to 161,687.
Hospitalizations are still decreasing for the sixth day in a row: intensive care units are 8 fewer (same number as yesterday), with 33 admissions that day, and drop to 403 total, while ordinary hospitalizations are 120 fewer (yesterday -102 ), 9,758 in all. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
There are 1,226,038 people currently positive for Covid, 4,700 more in the last 24 hours. A total of 15,712,088 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths rise to 161,687. The discharged and healed are 14,324,363, with an increase of 47,468 compared to yesterday.
