Covid, the Delta plus variant identified in Italy but not scary

A new speed champion is growing among coronaviruses. We believed the Delta was unbeatable, and today we are back with the Delta plus, codenamed AY.4.2. The concern is actually relative. The contagiousness is only slightly higher: the first estimates, still sketchy, speak of 10-15%. It is nothing dramatic compared to the progenitor, but enough to provoke attention.
