TREVISO. “The scam materialized with the liquidation of the bank.” The deputy prosecutors Massimo De Bortoli and Gabriella Cama reiterated this yesterday during the hearing before the gup Piera De Stefani as part of the proceeding for criminal association aimed at the fraud against the top management of Veneto Banca.

This is a fundamental point that will see a clash between the prosecution and the defenders, who instead argue that the crime – if configurable – is in any case prescribed, because it should be calculated from the sale of the shares (at the latest in 2015) and not from the liquidation of the bank.
