On a day full of meaning and hope, the Governor of Chimborazo, Rodrigo Fabricio Cáceres Veloz, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Family and Peasant Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Ecuador, Wilma Suárez, as well as authorities and delegates from the province, carried out a transcendental act: the delivery of property titles and services to the farmers and peasants of the region.

A total of 110 Land Titles were delivered, a crucial step on the path towards security and stability for farmers on their plots.

The event, which took place in an atmosphere of camaraderie and solemnity, witnessed exciting and meaningful moments for the rural families of Chimborazo. But the delivery didn’t stop there. 151 Livestock Technology Packages were also awarded, an invaluable boost to improve agricultural practices and increase productivity in the region. In addition, 14 motocultors were delivered to 10 organizations and one community, a fundamental tool to optimize work in the field and facilitate the transportation of products.

The culminating moment came with the graduation of 35 producers in the Peasant Family Farming Learning Communities. This achievement not only represents recognition of the effort and dedication of these farmers, but also an investment in knowledge and continuous training that will promote sustainable development in the region. But the delivery of services was not limited to the agricultural field. As part of security support, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock loaned 13 Polaris vehicles to the Galapagos Armored Cavalry Brigade and the National Police of Ecuador. These units, destined to become surveillance units, represent a firm commitment to the protection and well-being of the community. In his speech, the Governor of Chimborazo highlighted the importance of this day: “This is an important day, because we not only support the rural sector and agriculture, but also as a Government and as the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock we contribute to citizen security. , which is a primary objective of President Daniel Noboa and the Government.”
