What the country expects from our leaders is security, trust and basic conditions to be able to work. However, the increase in taxes, the vicious circle of spending in ineffective elections, a devastating storm, a vigorous narco-state resistant to dismantling and the ferocious fall in investment, They make the lives of Ecuadorians more complicated. This hostile attitude of the ‘blood-sucking’ legislators to entangle possible solutions, such as the reform of penalties for criminals, accelerates the disenchantment of remaining in these parts. The desire of entire families to migrate is worrying. and it continues to be the critical issue that is debated again among academics, intellectuals and the media.
To the above comes the burden of adding the pre-election drama and enduring a complicated existential year; in a permanent superficial campaign, with little thought and little ethics. Of course, citizen distrust is more than firm and justified when once again hearing ghostly candidates and repeating names of mysterious characters who are reborn as zombies and profit from politics. Aren’t Dracula’s coachman, Mama Luisa, Rambito, Rambascall and those from the chacana on the waiting list? Wouldn’t it be that left-handed people became right-handed and right-handed people became left-handed? In short, we are getting used to Frankenstein-type laws and curfews.
It is no small matter to maintain a ‘Code of Democracy’ to nurture political movements and parties dusty, full of rats, spider webs and ultra tomb. In truth, zombies continue to appear on the ballot and legislators waste their time. Life things.
