This week the scheduled interruption of the aqueduct service will take place to wash the drinking water storage tanks of the Versalles and Batallón circuits in Medellín.

The cuts will be the following: Barrios Villa Hermosa, Manrique Oriental, El Raizal, Batallón Girardot, Santa Inés, La Salle, Versalles No. 1, San José La Cima No. 2 SE, Las Granjas and Oriente. The cut will be made between 10:00 pm on Wednesday, March 6 and 4:00 am on Thursday, March 7: From Calle 66D to Calle 66FA between Carrera 36 and Carrera 37. From Calle 66FA to Calle 68 between Carrera 34A and Carrera 36A. From Calle 68 to Calle 72 between Carrera 29 and Carrera 38. From Calle 72 to Calle 81 between Carrera 30 and Carrera 38. From Calle 81 to Calle 82A between Carrera 32 and Carrera 38A. From Calle 82B to Calle 84 between Carrera 36 and Carrera 37. From Calle 84 to Calle 86B between Carrera 32 and Carrera 36. From Calle 86B to Calle 91B between Carrera 34 and Carrera 36. From Calle 91A to Calle 93A between Carrera 36 and Carrera 34A.

Neighborhoods Brasilia, Botanical Garden, University of Antioquia, Seville, El Chagualo, Jesús Nazareno, Prado, San Miguel, La Mansión, Manrique Central No. 1, Manrique Central No. 2 and Campo Valdés No. 1. In addition to the Hospital sectors San Vicente de Paul, Parque Norte and San Pedro.

The cut will be made between 10:00 pm on Thursday, March 7 and 4:00 am on Friday, March 8:

From Calle 58 to Calle 59 between Carrera 50 and Carrera 50C. From Calle 59 to Calle 67 between Carrera 51 and Carrera 46. From Calle 67 to Calle 73 between Carrera 53 and Carrera 44. From Calle 73 to Calle 77 between Carrera 51 and Carrera 48A.

The washing of these tanks by EPM is in order to provide an aqueduct service with quality and reliability. The Company has 132 drinking water storage tanks, with a capacity of 478,427 cubic meters, which supply drinking water to its more than 1,400,000 customers (more than 5 million people). Each of these tanks must be washed, as a rule, twice a year.
