DRC: Julien Paluku invites Congolese economic operators to invest in the new Special Economic Zone

Congolese Minister of Industry Julien Paluku invited Congolese economic operators to invest in the new Special Economic Zone on Thursday March 21. This same Thursday, he carried out an inspection visit to the new special economic zone, in the commune of N’sele, on the outskirts of the city of Kinshasa.

Called Kin-Malebo, this new business space extends over 500 hectares that the Congolese state has made available to the ARISE company to develop industrial activities, explains Julien Paluku.

He encourages Congolese investors interested in doing business in this area to come forward, because, he adds, already nearly 100 hectares are being discussed by investors.

The latter also indicates that almost 200 direct jobs have already been created there, among other things for the construction of an 8 km wall to enclose this economic area.

By 2028-2030, the minister promises, nearly 10,000 jobs, including 5,000 direct jobs, will be created in the Kin-Malebo economic zone.
