Xi Jinping Emphasizes Importance of Reform and Innovation During Inspection in Hunan
During a recent inspection in Hunan, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, emphasized the importance of adhering to reform and innovation, seeking truth, and being pragmatic. Xi Jinping stressed that Hunan must firmly grasp its strategic positioning in building a new development pattern and strive to write a chapter of Chinese-style modernization in the province.
Accompanied by Hunan Provincial Party Committee Secretary Shen Xiaoming and Governor Mao Weiming, Xi Jinping visited various places in Changsha and Changde to conduct in-depth research on schools, enterprises, historical and cultural districts, and villages.
During his visit to Hunan First Normal College, Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of providing good education for the country to be strong. He also visited BASF Shanshan Battery Materials Co., where he discussed the significance of technological innovation and high-quality development for enterprises to remain competitive.
In Changde City, Xi Jinping inspected Changde River Street, a historical and cultural district, and emphasized the importance of promoting traditional culture with local characteristics. He also visited Gangzhongping Village to inspect grain production and stressed the importance of food security for the country.
Xi Jinping highlighted the need for scientific and technological innovation as a core element of developing new productive forces. He also emphasized the importance of further deepening reforms and promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas in Hunan.
