BELLUNO. The first appointment of 2022 with the “ecological Sundays“, the measure provided for by the anti-smog ordinance currently in force, which provides, among other things, the commitment, for Municipalities with a population greater than 30,000 inhabitants, to organize one ecological Sunday per month for the period from 1 October to April 30 each year.
From 9.00 to 19.00 the circulation of all motor vehicles will be prohibited in the historic center. The affected area is the one accessed from via Loreto and via Garibaldi and which also includes piazza dei Martiri, via Roma, via Simon da Cusighe – up to the intersection with via Gabelli -, and the whole area that includes the city old (map attached).

I am exempted from the ban electric vehicles, those of people residing or domiciled in the area, vehicles for the handicapped, emergency and service vehicles.

Subsequent appointments will be scheduled on Sunday 20 February, Sunday 20 March and Sunday 3 April. The invitation for everyone is to consider the initiative as an opportunity to contain PM10 pollution and, above all, to experience a different way of experiencing the city.
