According to the Public Security authorities’ record, there have been 20 days without crimes this month alone; Data that continues to reflect the good work of the authorities and how assertive the security strategy is, marking a milestone at the regional level.

2023 closed as the safest year in the history of El Salvador, recording only 154 homicides, which results in an average of 0.4 murders per day, numbers that in 2024 are expected to continue decreasing, increasing the security level of the city. population.

The comprehensive security approach implemented by the current Government, supported by strategies such as the Exception Regime, has transformed the reality of security in El Salvador. The collaboration between the PNC and the Territorial Control Plan has consolidated the country as a benchmark in the region, generating a safer and more reliable environment for its citizens.
