In the final of the Major accordion competition, three women faced each other on the stage of the Consuelo Araujo Boguera park, where each one demonstrated with overwhelming presentations that they have talent in playing the accordion.
However, after a rainy night, who holds the crown, during the 57th version of the Vallenata Legend Festival, is Sara Marcela Arango Pérez, a native of La Apartada – Córdoba, who at 19 years old achieved victory with unique skills displayed during the four days of the contest.
Sara Arango was accompanied during the competition by Iván Antonio Romero Gutiérrez, on the box, and Iván René Becerra Narváez, on the guacharaca.
Second place in this Senior Queen category went to the young Samaria Heinis Yulieth Gulfo Palma, who at 16 years old was crowned as one of the youngest of the Vallenata Legend Festival.
In the third box was Madeleine Bolaño Escobar, a native of Valledupar – Cesar, who is 54 years old.
