On repeated occasions, the prosecutor’s office, through the Specialized Corruption Crimes Unit, has mentioned that they have more than 2,000 pieces of evidence, including accounting expertise, witness statements and analysis of document signatures, which demonstrate that the The amount embezzled, through the diversion of funds from prison stores, amounts to approximately half a million dollars.
