In a series of operations to request background information on people and vehicles, the Huila Police Department recovered 12 motorcycles in recent days.
Of the 12 motorcycles recovered, 10 were being sought by different Prosecutor’s Offices in the region due to the crime of theft.. The effectiveness of the control plans and the thorough background check have allowed the identification and recovery of these vehicles.
Additionally, during one of the operations on the Pitalito-San Agustín road, a man was captured for the crime of receiving. This individual was traveling on one of the recovered motorcycles, which was being requested by the Pitalito Prosecutor’s Office 34.

The recoveries were carried out in various municipalities, with Pitalito standing out with 3 recovered motorcycles, followed by Garzón (2), Nátaga (2), Suaza (2), and a vehicle recovered in Agrado, Argentina, and Tesalia respectively.

Within the framework of the registration and control plans carried out by the quadrant patrols in the early morning hours, two individuals were captured in popular areas of Pitalito while they were trying to sell several doses of marijuana and bazooka.
In the Solarte neighborhood, The uniformed officers managed to capture an individual known as alias “Pato”, 40 years old. During the search, 50 bazooka ballots ready for distribution were found in his possession.
Simultaneously, In the vicinity of the El Jardín neighborhood, the quadrant patrol detained another individual identified as alias “Chacho”, 21 years old. In a plastic bag that she was carrying, more than 300 grams of marijuana and 5 cigarettes with the same substance were found, prepared for sale.
