Emergency room service: the details of the Aosta Valley Local Health Authority

‘The outsourced service at the Parini hospital emergency room continues regularly’

«The outsourced service at the“ Parini ”hospital emergency room continues regularly thanks to a direct assignment carried out at the beginning of August, whose natural expiry will be at the end of January 2022. The full operation of the service is therefore guaranteed». This was stated in a note by the Local Health Authority of Valle d’Aosta regarding the article published Wednesday by Aostaoggi.it entitled “First aid clinic without staff, but the Local Health Authority revokes the tender for the assignment of the service”.

The health company adds that “the competition for missing emergency medicine doctors has been launched, as it is a priority objective to guarantee all services with regularly hired operators”.

“We are therefore working to ensure that no further outsourcing is necessary,” said Commissioner Massimo Uberti. «Only in case it is not possible to find the necessary doctors will we proceed with a new tender. The revocation of the previous tender, consequent to the withdrawal of the only participating company, is a formal act, however necessary in the event that a new call for tender is to proceed “.
