False documents at the border, 34-year-old arrested

Stopped at the Mont Blanc tunnel by the border police

A 34-year-old Algerian was arrested for presenting false identity documents during a border police check. It happened yesterday at the Mont Blanc Tunnel.

At the time of the check, the man showed an identity card and a driving license which, according to the checks carried out, were found to be counterfeit. Further photodactyloscopic investigations also revealed a request for international protection submitted to the Bulgarian authorities in 2013.
