They were accused of going to a British company to evade taxes

UDINE. The long wave of the investigation into the fake sponsorships of car races, with which the Guardia di Finanza of Monza had hypothesized a maxi tax fraud carried out through rounds of money passed through tax havens and then returned in cash to entrepreneurs, produced two convictions also in Udine.

The sentence was issued on Tuesday 3 May, at the end of the trial which saw the infliction of 2 years and 4 months of imprisonment on Michele Basso, 45, from Udine, and 1 year and 6 months, suspended with parole, on Giorgio Peressini, 67, by Manzano.
