In this regard, Gao Fu once again wrote an e-mail to Fauci on April 8 to express condolences, “I saw some news (but the hope is fake)” , “(You) are being attacked by some people. In this irrational situation, I hope you all go well.”
Three days later, Fauci replied thanking Gao Fu for his condolences, saying that although there are some crazy people in this world, everything is fine, “Thank you for your kind reminder. Although there are some crazy people, everything is still controllable.”
However, Fauci changed his position for the first time in discussing the source of the CCP virus in recent days and supported further investigations, which immediately drew fierce abuse from the CCP media.
