The autopsy on the patient of Santa Maria del Prato has been ordered and will be held tomorrow
FELTRE. He died outside the Santa Maria del Prato hospital in Feltre. Flavio Gatto, 62, a Venetian from Spinea died Sunday afternoon, after being discharged from the emergency room. He was on vacation in Primiero and in the morning he had turned to the Feltre facility, because he complained of stomach and chest pains. In the afternoon, the doctors told him that everything was fine, even though he had only undergone a visit, according to family members. No instrumental examination.
As soon as he left, Gatto fell to the ground and there was nothing more for him to do. The family relied on the Venetian lawyer Cancellier, who asked for the autopsy already ordered by the hospital to be blocked and the medical records to be seized. Three doctors are under investigation for manslaughter, all those who took turns in the emergency room. The Public Prosecutor’s Office has ordered the autopsy examination, which will be performed tomorrow.
