Laurencet and Favre against the municipal administration: “the majority open their eyes to the city”

“The maintenance of the territory in order and safety is one of the essential public services that a municipal administration cannot avoid, even and above all in the height of the tourist season”. Thus, in a note, the Aosta municipal councilors of the Forza Italia group in which they accuse the city administration of “failure in the management policy of tourist accommodation in the city”.

“We strongly advise all the council and the municipal majority to take a tour of the bus station area in via Carrel and in various other areas close to the Roman walls, where all kinds of waste have been reported, including mattresses for the bivouac”, explain Paolo Laurencet and Renato Favre. “A shameful situation – continues the note -, which is added to a condition of the city streets and of the billposting systems that represents a bad business card, despite all these problems, at our specific request, in recent months mayor and councilors always replied that everything had already been resolved. Not to mention the new tourist portal of the city of Aosta, already in lack of updates in its contents just a few months after its launch ».

According to the two FI councilors, “instead of being strong in returning the proposals we present to the City Council punctually, with abstention, the majority would do better to finally open their eyes to the city, because one cannot always and only ask the families and activities in Aosta ”.
