Luckily, all of the pigs in the pigsty were saved in advance by the operator. No one was injured either. The fire was completely extinguished around 3 a.m.
The fire brigade was able to prevent the fire from spreading to others. A total of around 100 firefighters, rescue services and police were on duty. In addition to the Hardegsen volunteer fire department, the Hevensen, Lutterhausen, Wolbrechtshausen, Gladebeck fire departments and the turntable ladder from the Northeim district fire department were on duty together with the Nörten-Hardenberg Workers’ Samaritan Association and the police.
