Folders stopped for another two months. Government and Parliament have reached an agreement to postpone the deadline set now to 30 June until the end of August, thus postponing the resumption of collection operations to the beginning of September. The issue was at the center of the debate in the House on Sostegni bis, in particular due to pressure from the League which in some amendments aimed to postpone everything directly to January 2022. The final solution was a compromise with the postponement to the end of August.
Balance and excerpt
The question of the folders is not the only tax issue on the table: the parties, starting with the League, are also pressing for a longer installment for scrapping and balance and excerpt, with the installments also in this case suspended since the beginning of the pandemic.

Balance-account of personal income tax, IRES and IRAP for Isa subjects
Another issue is that of the deadline of 30 June for the balance-payment of Irpef, Ires and Irap for Isa subjects. The request would be to move it to September 30 for Isa subjects, but the drop point could lead to a 20-day slip through a dpcm, without the need for a primary norm. The payment of taxes could thus take place without increases by 20 July (or by 20 August with the addition of 0.40% interest).
The other amendments to the Dl supports
In any case, the package of amendments to the Sostegni bis decree will not be defined before next week, starting from the approximately 500 amendments reported by all groups (130 of the opposition groups). There are 800 million available for parliamentary proposals already provided for by the decree, to which is added the ‘treasury’ of approximately 4 billion for non-repayable compensation requests lower than expected. Among the changes on which convergence has already been recorded, the expected cancellation of the first IMU installment for property owners with evictions blocked since the beginning of the Covid emergency (about 50 million), a refinancing of car eco-incentives and also of the new Sabatini .
