FONTANELLE. Fear this afternoon, November 18, in Fontanelle: the truck driver loses control and the vehicle ends up in the ditch. Around 4 pm in via Roma an articulated lorry carrying wooden panels ended up inside the ditch that runs alongside the provincial road and overturned. Immediate call from some passing motorists to 118 and the fire brigade.
The Suem operators arrived on the spot and with the help of the firefighters of the Motta di Livenza station, they extracted the driver, stabilizing him. The man he remained conscious during all operations and was not seriously injured.
The police arrived on the spot to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident. It is not yet clear whether the driver has lost control due to an illness, a distraction or the intervention of a second vehicle. The fire brigade crane arrived from Treviso. After several hours of work they managed to reposition the truck on the roadway. –
