Found local confirmed cases
According to the website of the Inner Mongolia Health Commission of the Communist Party of China, on the 13th, one new confirmed case of local new coronary pneumonia (CCP virus) in Erlianhot City was confirmed.The closed-loop management personnel of Huitong Logistics Park tested positive at the time of nucleic acid test and then diagnosed.
According to Lu Media reports, from midnight on the 14th, the city has implemented closed management, all traffic entrances and exits are controlled, the city’s government agencies, enterprises and institutions have suspended work and production, schools, kindergartens, and business premises have been closed. All staff do nucleic acid testing.
Erenhot is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of the Xilin Gol League in Inner Mongolia, bordering Mongolia. A female citizen told The Epoch Times that due to the epidemic, the border has been closed for a long time.
The staff of Oulian International Hotel said, “The city has been closed, so you can only get in. Outsiders can come in, but they can’t get out.” She said that the hotel can check in temporarily, but we are still waiting for the next step.
Some residents said that the epidemic is not serious, but the censorship is very strict.
Xinjiang’s strict control affects people’s lives
On the evening of the 15th, officials from Toutunhe District, Urumqi, Xinjiang stated that on the 14th, a worker at a cargo yard in the district was diagnosed with asymptomatic infection. The nucleic acid test of this case was negative from October 1st to 13th. There was no history of living in high-risk areas and no history of contact with confirmed cases within 14 days.
Urumqi is the second city in Xinjiang where an epidemic occurred after the “Eleventh” period.
On October 3, two new cases of asymptomatic infections were added in Khorgos City, Ili Prefecture, bordering Kazakhstan, and the state was closed by the authorities.
On the same day, a large number of inbound and outbound flights from Urumqi Diwopu, Korla, Aksu, Yining and other airports were cancelled on a large scale. Traffic control in Yining City, Ili Prefecture, local roads, railways, and planes are all suspended. Tourists cannot leave and wait for inspection at the hotel.
Zhao Jie (pseudonym), who runs a business in Urumqi, told the Epoch Times reporter on the 16th that on October 3, he evacuated from Yili in time because of the news of the closure of the state in advance. After returning to Urumqi, he was quarantined in a shelter hospital in Vung Tau River District.
Zhao Jie said that everyone who has been to Yili will have their personal itinerary code displayed and must be isolated.
“(Urumqi) there should be tens of thousands of people in quarantine. We could see the traffic jam at the time. All the people who entered Urumqi from Yili were quarantined.”
Zhao Jie also revealed, “Urumqi has built a lot of shelter hospitals, in every district.”
Although the 14-day quarantine period is approaching and the Yili itinerary code can be lifted, Zhao Jie’s activities in Urumqi have been restricted again. “Said it was quarantined for 14 days, and then wait for the above to do the research and judgment. According to the website of the Yunnan Health Commission, from 0-24 o’clock on October 15th, 1 newly confirmed case in Ruili City was an imported case from abroad. 3 new cases of asymptomatic infection were added.
There are currently 182 confirmed cases in the province, 2 deaths, and a total of 1538 confirmed cases.
