According to the data, in 2020, the proportion of people who regularly participate in physical exercise will reach 37.2%, an increase of 3.3 percentage points from 2014. The pass rate of the national physique determination standard will reach 90.4% in 2020, an increase of 0.8 percentage points from the previous time. National fitness facilities and venues are also constantly enriched and improved. By the end of 2021, the per capita site area nationwide will reach 2.41 square meters.
Gao Yuanyi pointed out that the General Administration of Sports of the People’s Republic of China promotes community games around the masses nationwide, and each individual sports association will also hold national mass competitions every year. Especially under the background of normal epidemic prevention and control, the National Fitness Online Games for All People, which was launched at the end of April this year, has so far directly participated in more than 7 million people, with billions of views, and has been welcomed by the masses.
