A pink aura pervades Rivarolo these days: the well-informed are ready to bet that the city will host the stage of the Giro d’Italia 2022, whose route is still kept secret by the organizers of RCS Sport. At the moment there are many rumors about next year’s “pink race”, but there are few certainties. The dates have been made official by the International Federation: departure on Friday 6 May and arrival on Sunday 29; the advance of one day compared to tradition, which sees the first stage run on Saturday, is the confirmation that the departure will take place from abroad, almost certainly from Budapest, thus recovering the three Hungarian days missed in 2020 due to the pandemic.
