At 2 o’clock in the morning on the 22nd, a netizen in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, took pictures of lightning flashes and rainstorms outside the house. In just half a minute, dozens of lightning pierced the night sky and hit people’s hearts.
On the evening of the 21st, there was a small lake near the home of a man in Luquan, Shijiazhuang, and the lake was flooded. The man immediately cut off the power supply to prevent the water from injuring people with electricity.
The video shows that the water is flowing like a jet, and the velocity is extremely fast. The road turns into a river, and the raging flood rushes through, with residents and businesses on both sides. The scene is heartbreaking.
“Hebei Daily” reported on July 22 that from the evening of July 20th to 21st, heavy rainfall continued to occur in Handan City, Hebei, causing water accumulation in the urban area. Until the evening of the 21st, the torrential rain continued to be strong, and the entire city was still “immersed” in the water.
On the morning of July 21, a reporter from the “Hebei Daily” saw in the Fuyang Bridge section of Fuhebei Street, raindrops were pounding on the water and the road, and the sky was misty. Under the bridge, the Fuyang River has overflowed the pedestrian path on both sides of the bank.
At about 10 o’clock on the 21st, in the section from Guoyuan Road to Beihuan Road, Fudong Street, a few cars were lying at the intersection and stopped by the water. Stepping into the closed section, the rain has flooded the ankles, every step is very difficult. At this time, the rapid rain is still falling.
In addition, dozens of trains going south to Handan Railway Station and Handan High-speed Railway East Station were suspended, and some passengers were stranded at the station.
The Hebei Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a red warning signal of heavy rain at 20:29 on July 21. At present, some areas of Handan, Shijiazhuang, Baoding and other places have experienced torrential rains to heavy rains.
