The regional table gave a mandate to the group consisting of Banca Finint, Delfin, Pro.gest and Luigi Rossi Luciani to conclude the operation: all 450 jobs guaranteed

BORGO VALBELLUNA. An agreement has been reached for the sale of the Ideal Standard plant in Borgo Valbelluna to the consortium of Venetian entrepreneurs, with whom, in this month, the exclusive negotiations have been carried out.

The regional table led by the councilor Elena Donazzan and the representative of the Crisis Unit Mattia Losego, together with all the other interested parties, gave a mandate to the consortium composed of Banca Finint, the Delfin financial company owned by Leonardo Del Vecchio, the Pro group .gest and Luigi Rossi Luciani know to close the sale of the Trichiana plant by 14 April. The plan provides for the occupational safeguarding of all 450 employees and the protection of a strategic territory for the region but also for the entire country.

The table will be reconvened on April 14, when a sort of preliminary sale agreement will be signed with all the points of the transaction processed in recent weeks. From the forecasts, therefore, the activity of the former Ceramica Dolomite di Trichiana could start as early as the summer.

“This is a first big step for the workers who have been waiting for answers for months. The Ministry of Economic Development will continue to monitor the evolution of the situation,” said the deputy minister of Mise, Alessandra Todde.

Satisfaction also comes from the unions who will meet the workers in the assembly on Monday 28 March, to explain to them the terms of the agreement that will be signed in mid-April.
