A bus assigned to the company Flota Libertadores – Sugamuxi, with internal number 735, was burned last night by unknown persons, in the vicinity of the site known as Rosa Blanca in the Marginal del Llano, between the municipalities of Hato Corozal and Paz de Ariporo.
The vehicle covered the Villavicencio – Arauca route, and at the time of the incident, only the driver and one passenger were traveling.
It was learned that individuals on a motorcycle overtook the public service vehicle, making it stop, intimidated the occupants by making them get off, and proceeded to set it on fire.
The events occurred after 8:00 at night in this sector of northern Casanare. At the moment, there is no official statement from the authorities.
It is unknown if this is some retaliation by the dissidents of the 28th Front of the FARC, due to the strong fighting against troops of the National Army in the rural area of the municipality of Sácama, where the sentimental partner of alias “Antonio Medina” died.
