The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management on the 15th that the end time of residential central heating in Beijing’s 2021-2022 heating season has been extended from 24:00 on March 15 to 24:00 on March 22, a total of 7 days.
According to the forecast of the meteorological department, the average temperature from March 16th to 20th was about 2-3°C, which was significantly lower than the same period of the year (7.4°C).
In response to this cooling, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Finance Bureau, the Municipal Meteorological Bureau and other departments have studied, and have reached the required conditions for extending the heating supply. With approval, the end time of residential central heating in the 2021-2022 heating season will be extended from 24:00 on March 15 to 24:00 on March 22, for a total of 7 days. In this heating season, the upper limit of the subsidy on the gas consumption of households for self-heating households (including coal-to-gas conversion in rural areas) is adjusted to 894 cubic meters accordingly. The heating off time for non-residential users shall be determined according to the contract or negotiation between the two parties.
The Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management stated that during the extension of the heating period, the urban management department of the Beijing district will urge heating enterprises to increase inspections and inspections, strengthen heating protection, and strictly implement energy-saving and consumption-reducing measures, and rationally adjust the heating system. The room temperature at night is up to the standard, and energy saving work must be done during the day. At the same time, continue to do a good job of handling complaints immediately, respond to public concerns in a timely manner, and solve heating demands.
