At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a man was sent to jail who, apparently, bit off part of the finger of his romantic partner’s right hand in the middle of an attack in Yopal.
The attack, which would have been motivated by an episode of jealousy, took place in recent days in a central sector of the Casanareña capital. Due to the quick action of the authorities, the victim was prevented from suffering further serious injuries. The man’s capture materialized in flagrante delicto by uniformed members of the National Police.
A prosecutor attached to the Casanare Section accused him of being allegedly responsible for the crime of aggravated domestic violence, a charge that the individual did not accept.
