Well-known fried chicken host with ten letters? If there were a separate edition of the crossword puzzle for Graz and the surrounding area, one answer would be obvious: Griesbauer. The inn in Schaftal has been attracting guests for generations who want to enjoy not only fresh air, but also classics such as fried chicken, Fritattensuppe, roast pork or Malakoff cake, just outside the state capital in the municipality of Kainbach near Graz. In addition to the day trippers, there are families who like to sit together there after a baptism or first communion. However, the restaurant itself also has reason to celebrate in 2024: its 100th birthday is coming up this year.
