ISLAMABAD: Pakistan called the killing of 9 Pakistanis in Arian as a terrorist and despicable incident and demanded an immediate investigation.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office has strongly condemned the incident in Sarawan area of Sistan-Baluchistan province of Iran and said, “It is a horrible and despicable incident”.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said, “We are in touch with the Iranian authorities. Pakistan has also demanded an immediate investigation into the incident and bring those involved in the heinous crime to justice.”
The Foreign Office said that ‘Pakistani consular hospital in Zahidan where three injured are being treated will reach there in a few hours due to the long distance and security issues involved. and will emphasize the urgent need for strict action against those involved in the murder.
It has been said in the statement that Pakistan is fully aware of this serious issue and is taking all necessary steps in this regard.
The Foreign Office added that such cowardly attacks cannot deter Pakistan from its determination to fight terrorism.
