Iran’s National Security Council warned Israel of a military response to the Tehran attacks. He said in a statement: “If the Zionist regime wishes to continue its evil practices against Iran, it will receive a response at least ten times greater than the last attack,” according to the “Noor News” portal.
The statement added, “Iran chose the minimum punitive measures against Israel, by targeting only military sites in its attack.”
Iran launched Operation “True Promise” in retaliation for an air strike on the grounds of its embassy in Damascus, on April 1, which resulted in the killing of two generals and others.
It is believed that Israel carried out the attack, and Tel Aviv did not deny responsibility for it.
Israeli leaders had threatened to respond if Tehran launched an attack on their country, in retaliation for the bombing of the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus. Which was attributed to Israel.
