With the presence of the Paraguayan general director of Itaipú, Justo Zacarías Irún, the official inauguration of the new headquarters of the Paraguayan Retirement and Pension Fund of Itaipú Binacional Staff (Cajubi) was held at Km. 3.5 of Ciudad del Este . During the meeting, the actions and objectives of the Fund were announced, as well as details of the new facilities, which were built and renovated by the Binacional.

“I want to leave you, on behalf of myself and my fellow board members, my congratulations for your dedication and effort; and ask that this be quadrupled so that retirees can be calm and safe. Also so that the assets can say that they have a secure future on the horizon and dream of a dignified retirement,” said Zacarías Irún.

The president of Cajubi, Robert Noguera, thanked the directors of the Binacional for their constant support of the representatives of the Caja. He insisted that Cajubi offers well-deserved compensation to retirees for their years of service in the Entity.

“The main objective of Cajubi’s existence is to guarantee the staff of Itaipú and the Fund itself the benefits provided for in its founding law. Since the signing of the Treaty, the Binational has always been concerned about the well-being of the personnel,” he expressed.

He added that, in this new scenario, it is possible to achieve better functioning of the Fund in several aspects, mainly with regard to adequate attention to members, in a proactive and efficient manner.
