Beijing Issues Green Consumption Vouchers to Boost Smart Home Product Sales

Beijing has officially started issuing Beijing Lottery green consumption vouchers in an effort to stimulate the consumption of green smart home products. Consumers can receive consumer coupons of up to 1,600 yuan on the online platforms of participating companies, allowing them to purchase over 50,000 green smart home products in 62 different categories.
From February 23 to March 17, consumers in Beijing can receive one or more Beijing Lottery green consumption coupons totaling 1,600 yuan on the online platform of the same participating company. The coupons range from 100 yuan to 600 yuan each, and can be used with purchases of specific amounts, with the vouchers valid for use before March 17.
Participating companies in this consumer voucher issuance include Lenovo, Suning, Meituan, Xiaomi, Red Star Macalline, and others. In addition, financial institutions such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, and UnionPay have simultaneously launched Beijing Lottery green overlay preferential activities, allowing consumers to use the vouchers together with other discounts based on their individual needs.
The vouchers can be used for a wide range of products, including office and learning products, bicycles, treadmills, air purifiers, sweeping robots, and massagers. Participating companies have also launched trade-in activities and “refresh” discounts on designated categories of products such as mobile phones, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and televisions.
The issuance of these green consumption vouchers aims to promote the purchase of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient products, while simultaneously supporting the economy. With the increase in available products and the collaboration of various industries, this initiative is expected to have a positive impact on both consumers and participating companies.
