LAHORE: Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the original leaders of May 9, who were oppressed, will now be held accountable. The miscreants deliberately desecrated the martyrs’ memorial. .

According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Lahore Garrison, where the Chief of Army Staff laid flowers on the memory of the martyrs and honored the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the motherland. Homage was paid. On this occasion, the Army Chief was given a detailed briefing on the operational preparations of the formation.

Addressing the Garrison Officers at the Corps Headquarters, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir appreciated the officers and men for their service to the nation and professionalism.

The Army Chief emphasized that the enemy forces and their patrons are doing digital terrorism through propaganda, trying hard to create a divide between the enemy armed forces and the people of Pakistan, but with the support of the nation, the ambitions of all these forces are being thwarted. will be thwarted.

General Asim Munir also emphasized that every soldier and officer of the Pakistan Army, regardless of any other affiliation or preference, prioritizes his duties and responsibilities and is making sacrifices on a daily basis.

The Pakistan Army chief further said that May 9 will undoubtedly be a dark day in the history of Pakistan. The miscreants deliberately desecrated the memorials of the martyrs and attacked the symbols of the state and national unity. Due to the violent and heinous acts, Pakistan’s enemies have been given an opportunity to mock the state and the nation.

Expressing regret, General Asim Munir said that now the same conspiratorial elements are brazenly distorting the narrative, trying to involve the state in this nefarious attempt, who created this dark chapter of history. There can be no compromise or deal with planners of such mindset.

Army Chief General Asim Munir said that the innocent people who could not understand the nefarious political motives of these criminal elements were fueled by the planners for their ambitions, giving these deluded people the benefit of the doubt in advance on the instructions of the Supreme Court. However, the real masterminds of this dastardly scheme who claim to be innocent will now have to answer for their crimes especially when there is clear evidence of their involvement.
