Launchmetrics comes under the control of Lectraa French group active in the production of software and premium technological solutions for companies in the fashion, furniture and automotive sectors.

The player purchased the majority, i.e. a stake equal to 50.3% of the capital, of the company specialized in marketing services for fashion, lifestyle and beauty, investing approximately 85 million dollars (approximately 77 million euros), a amount that “will depend on Launchmetrics’ 2023 revenues and ebitda”. The acquisition of the remaining capital and voting rights is expected in five phases: in 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and finally in 2030. The total acquisition budget is expected to be between $200 and $240 million based on the results achieved over the next five years by the company.

Bpifrancemajor shareholder of Launchmetrics, will sell part of its shares during this operation and will remain in the company’s capital until 2027.

The operation, we read in the note issued, is part of Lectra’s strategy aimed at extending its presence on the fashion market, “offering customers strategic tools to support the entire value chain, from development to production, up to to collection management, including marketing, e-commerce and traceability”.

The deal represents the seventh operation in seven years for Lectra, recalled the president and CEO Daniel Harari: “This new strategic step allows Lectra to continue pushing boundaries by defining a new framework for Industry 4.0 in fashion and is fully aligned with the strategic roadmap 2023-2025, presented in February 2023.”

Founded in 2015 by the current CEO Michael JaïsLaunchmetrics develops and sells a cloud platform tailored to the needs of marketing and communications professionals used in particular by almost 1,700 customers in 20 countries, to manage the launch of brand campaigns, precisely measure their effectiveness and maximize profitability .

In 2023, Launchmetrics’ revenues are expected to be around $45 million, with an adjusted EBITDA of around $5 million.
