Leonel Moreno, influencer who incited ‘invading homes in the US’, was arrested in Ohio

Leonel Moreno, a well-known influencer whose TikTok account was suspended for encouraging migrants to come to the United States illegally, was arrested by agents from the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service on Friday.

According to FoxNews correspondent Bill Melugin, Moreno was taken into custody on March 29 in Columbus, Ohio. The arrest came after Moreno posted a video on social media in which he suggested that there was a law allowing people to expropriate uninhabited houses. In the video, he urged other migrants to take over properties in the US.

In another video, Moreno bragged about his earnings and stated that he had come to the United States to “mark territory.” He also claimed that he did not come to the US to work as a slave.

Reports from the New York Post indicate that Moreno had crossed the border illegally and was enrolled in a migrant program that required him to check in with authorities regularly. However, he failed to comply with these requirements and never showed up for his scheduled appointments.

Moreno’s arrest has sparked debate about the influence of social media in promoting illegal immigration and the enforcement of immigration laws in the United States. It remains to be seen what legal consequences Moreno will face as a result of his actions.
