Letta-Conte Summit: “Dialogue ahead despite frictions on Ukraine and waste-to-energy plants”

“Comparison between allies is always needed and always useful.” This was stated by the Minister of Labor, Andrea Orlando, speaking in Transatlantico with the journalists of the meeting between Enrico Letta and Giuseppe Conte.

In any case, as the Pd secretary explains to the reporters who question him in the Chamber, the one we had today with Giuseppe Conte “I considered it an excellent discussion, we assume the differences, but we want to go on together”. In Transatlantico the Chamber is also attended by the Minister of Labor Andrea Orlando who, in the last few hours, had hoped there could be an opportunity for confrontation between the two leaders. “I consider every opportunity for dialogue between allies to be positive,” the minister stressed. A dialogue that restarts after a series of tensions that involved the Pd and M5s, also thanks to the approaching administrative elections: “It is physiological that a campaign for the administrative elections, during the legislature, provokes tensions is physiological,” says Orlando. “This time there is one more anomaly because one pole has within it all forces that support the government, the other contains forces that support it and forces that do not support it.”
