At around 7:30 p.m., a Linz taxi driver contacted the Kleinmünchen police with a request for help: he had transported two aggressive passengers and needed police help. But before the police could clarify the matter with the passengers, the two jumped, a 33-year-old Romanian and a 35-year-old Afghan, both from Linz, each with a small child in their arms, got out of the taxi and screamed uncontrollably and loudly.
The two ignored several warnings to calm down and stop their behavior, which is why they were threatened with arrest. But that didn’t help either. Because they didn’t stop their aggressive behavior, the police actually had to arrest the couple.
The couple’s children were looked after in the police station until they were handed over to the child and youth welfare service. The parents were taken to the police detention center in Linz. There are now several charges against them and a report to youth welfare.
