Maserada and Breda di Piave, two municipalities and 1,800 families without water for a whole morning

On Wednesday 23 March the service will be interrupted from 9 to 13 due to works on the water network by Ats

Maserada and Breda di Piave: Wednesday 23 March no water from the taps. The interruption is foreseen in the entire territory of the two municipalities, and will serve to allow the extension of the water network in Salettuol.

Specifically, Ats communicates, the interruption is necessary to allow the redevelopment works of the intersection between the provincial road 92 and via Lantini in the hamlet of Salettuol promoted by the Municipality of Maserada. As part of this construction site, the administration has provided for the laying of new cast iron water lines and the connection with the existing network that will allow to reach areas of the municipality not yet served by the aqueduct.

The suspension of the drinking water supply will take place from 9 am on Wednesday 23 March and, barring unforeseen events, it will end at 1 pm. The entire municipalities of Maserada sul Piave and Breda di Piave will be affected by the closure, with the involvement of about 1800 users (the water network of Maserada is also connected to that of Breda). The company warns citizens through the Ats Alert service and the posting of notices in the main public places of the respective municipalities.

“We apologize immediately to the citizens of both municipalities for the unease that will be caused to them by the suspension and we ask for patience ”, explains the CEO of Ats, Pierpaolo Florian.

“We trust in the understanding of citizenship – say the mayor of Maserada, Lamberto Marini, and that of Breda di Piave, Moreno Rossetto – We have tried to minimize the inconvenience caused by the interruption of the service. We reassure our fellow citizens that the planned work will serve to make the water supply system in the area more efficient with tangible benefits for all “.
