At the Risaralda Departmental Assembly premises, the Government, through the Sports Secretariat, paid tribute to the athletes who made up the Risaralda delegation in the individual national finals of the Intercollegiate Games, where they ranked fifth after having reached a total of 52 medals.
The exponents of swimming, cycling, judo, athletics, gymnastics, boxing, table tennis, field tennis and weight lifting, were in charge of giving Risaralda the final medals.
The Secretary of Sport, Recreation and Culture of Risaralda, Luis Eduardo Duque Sanz, announced that the gold medalists in these fairs will be included in the Supported Athlete program, which guarantees them an economic income.
