(ANSA) – ROME, DECEMBER 18 – At least 138 migrants from France have been rescued since Thursday in the English Channel while trying to reach the United Kingdom aboard boats in distress: the French authorities have announced this, according to what reports the Guardian.
Authorities were informed Thursday that “many boats trying to cross the Channel were in trouble” and the searches that led to the rescue of migrants by two Navy ships have begun.
