(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 05 – Yet another massacre off the coast of Tunisia. 49 bodies were recovered by the Tunisian Coast Guard off the coast of Sfax, “following the sinking of four boats carrying irregular migrants from sub-Saharan Africa” dating back to 26 and 30 June and 4 July. The survivors of the shipwreck of July 3, would be at least 78.
A total of 135 people would have been aboard the sunken boats. According to the numbers provided by the Tunisian authorities, at least eight are missing. (HANDLE).
