On Monday the young woman will open the new series of “4 chats with …” Guests of the Efasce video interviews, two other fellow countrymen abroad

The new series of “4 chats with …” continues with the story of Miriam Ferrarin, from Maniago, who lives and works in London, the format of video interviews with which the Efasce (Friulian institution for social and cultural assistance for emigrants) of Pordenone it is keeping alive the link with fellow countrymen abroad, allowing to know the stories of the most recent emigration. A project supported by the Region and the Friuli Foundation.

London between guitars and travels, New York between cinema and photography, Toulouse between wine and aromas: these are the stages between the end of May and the beginning of June. On the Facebook page “Efasce-Pordenonesi nel mondo” and on the YouTube channel of the same name, the president of the institution, Gino Gregoris, the vice president Luisa Forte and Michele Morassut of the Efasce secretariat will talk to fellow countrymen connected from different parts of the world, touching on various points, from professional to personal life.

Here are the next three episodes: on Monday at 9 pm this part of the Miriam Ferrarin project, originally from Maniago, will open. After her studies (accounting at Mattiussi in Pordenone) and a first work experience in the region and others abroad, she now works in London in the Italian financial section of Fender, a multinational leader in the production of electric and acoustic guitars.

Ferrarin is also a travel enthusiast, who tells Mary Giramondo in her blog, where she also provides suggestions to women who want to travel alone, an uncommon perspective in Italian culture. Among her most loved travels, those in Southeast Asia, where she lived before returning to Europe: from this meeting she was born her photographic project of her Women of Myanmar, with which she has already made an exhibition in London.

Monday 6 June, at 6 pm, in the center of the interview Marco Monti, from Pordenone. After graduating in cinema at La Sapienza in Rome, thanks to a professional experience with the Ministry of Culture, he arrives in New York, where he now works in still life photography for major luxury brands. Together with Mina Ok, originally from South Korea, he founded the M + M studio.

On June 13 at 6 pm it will be the turn of Marco Li Calzi, born in Venice, raised in Pordenone. After the Grigoletti scientific high school and a rich academic career that led him to obtain degrees in pharmaceutical chemistry and in viticulture and enology in Padua, Milan and Bologna, he began a series of professional experiences around the world.

Experiences focused on the chemistry of odors and aromas, given its above-average olfactory abilities. Finally, the arrival in Toulouse, where from 2014 to 2019 he is professor of Sensory Sciences at the Ecole d’ingenieurs de Purpan.

In 2017 he founded with two partners Enolfactive, a company that deals with the training of oenologists and wine enthusiasts. An innovative project in which molecules of nanoencapsulated aromas are sold that reproduce defects and positive aromas on which the training in sensory analysis is based.
