The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) continues to carry out infrastructure reconstruction works and removal of a cave in Santa Eduviges colony, Soyapango, as part of the implementation of the National Mitigation Plan.

The gully in the Santa Eduviges neighborhood was formed due to the collapse of pipes that posed great danger to residents, therefore, the Government is currently intervening 4,181 square meters in the place.

According to the MOP authorities, they plan to finish this project before winter, and in this way guarantee the well-being of the inhabitants who for years lived with anxiety due to the risk they ran when these problems were not intervened by previous administrations.
