Police officers refer to the collective name of officials, judges, prosecutors, and police in the political and legal departments of the Chinese Communist Party.
The nationwide education and rectification of political and legal personnel, also known as political and legal rectification, was officially launched on February 27. Nearly 2.7 million political and legal officers participated in the education and rectification. The purpose is to rectify the political and legal system that has exposed huge problems in the “sweeping criminals and evil” campaigns.
According to data released by the Communist Party of China on May 12, in the three-year “anti-gang” special operation launched in early 2018, 46,500 police and legal system police officers involved in criminal investigations were filed and investigated, accounting for 40% of the total number of investigations.
And Chen Yixin’s latest proactive surrender to police officers included Sun Baoshun, member of the Standing Committee of Tianjin Jinnan District Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Yang Yujun, Prosecutor of Shanghai’s Pudong New District, and Hui Congbing, deputy secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of Political and Legal Affairs.
Xi Jinping’s “fighting the tiger” since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012 shocked the political and legal system. According to incomplete statistics, from January 2013 to September 2017, at least 81 officials committed suicide, most of whom were senior officials of the political and legal system.
However, since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2017, a large number of officials in the political and legal system have still fallen.
In 2020 alone, there are a large number of senior political and legal officials such as Sun Lijun, Deputy Minister of Public Security of the Communist Party of China, Gong Daoan, Director of Shanghai Public Security, Deng Huilin, Director of Chongqing Public Security, and Wang Like, Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee.
On May 21, 2021, political commentator Wang Youqun counted nine CCP political and legal committee secretaries recently investigated and dealt with, including: Yu Donghui, secretary of Zhengzhou Municipal and Legal Committee, deputy secretary of Shandong Political and Legal Committee, Hui Congbing, deputy director of the 610 Office, and others .
Wang Youqun said: The nine secretaries of the Political and Legal Committee of the CCP were down for different reasons, but at least two major problems were common: first, corruption; second, the persecution of Falun Gong.
The old saying goes: “You can’t deceive the blue sky of Zhanzhan, and you have never expressed your intentions. Good and evil will be rewarded in the end, and we only fight for early and late.”
On June 1, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection reported that Gan Rongkun, member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, was suspected of serious violations of the law and was currently under investigation; on the 2nd, it was notified that Meng Yongshan, the chief prosecutor of the Qinghai Provincial Procuratorate, had voluntarily surrendered and was under investigation.
On the same day, the CCP’s Foreign Propaganda and Duowei.com website stated that within a month or so, the number of officials in the CCP’s political and legal system has exceeded 40 persons at or above the bureau level. It is expected that in the next half a year, political and legal officials will continue to be sacked. .
After sorting out, it is found that in the new round of rectification in the political and legal system, news of the fall of officials from the “610” office has rarely increased significantly.
On March 13, Peng Bo, deputy director of the Central “610 Office”, was investigated; on April 9, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection notified Liu Xinyun, the deputy governor of Shanxi Province and the director of the Provincial Public Security Department of the Communist Party of China, to be investigated, stating that he had served as the “610 Office” in Zibo City. “Deputy Director of the Office.
On April 25, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection informed the CCP that Du Rongliang, deputy mayor of Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, was investigated. The notice stated that he had served as the director of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee’s “610” Office; on May 14, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection notified Hui Congbing, deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, to be investigated. List him as deputy director of the “610” Office of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee.
The “610” office is an illegal full-time organization established by the Jiang Zemin Group of the Communist Party of China to persecute Falun Gong since 1999. It has powers beyond all laws.
Since 2013, senior CCP officials who persecuted Falun Gong, including Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai, Li Dongsheng, Zhou Benshun, Zhang Yue, and Sun Lijun, have fallen from the horse.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection has increased its exposure to “610” in the near future. Epoch Times columnist Wang He believes that this is a bit weird. On the one hand, Xi Jinping relies on the political and legal system to control society. On the other hand, he wants to buy people’s hearts and rectify the political and legal system with the blade inward. In this way, he has formed a seemingly contradictory approach to the political and legal system.
Wang He said, but Xi Jinping currently does not have the moral courage to cancel the “610” office (the real substance), which makes the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong still maintained. In this process, a large number of 610 people were deprived of horses and forced to reeducate through labor. The abolition of the system and the (formally) abolishment of the 610 organization all show that the CCP’s long-term persecution of Falun Gong can no longer be maintained.
On May 12, the US State Department announced that it would include Yu Hui, the former director of the “610” office in Chengdu, on the sanctions list. Yuhui is the first “610” office director named by the United States to be sanctioned for persecuting Falun Gong. And afterglow is just a representative.
Wang He said that the international community is now countering the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, which directly touched the Xi authorities. In this regard, Xi Jinping must make some statements. At home, he cleaned up 610 officials. But he won a large number of senior political and legal officials only to shock the tiger. He still uses this persecution policy as a bargaining chip in the CCP’s internal struggle, which makes the whole situation very strange.
Gobi Dong, an independent scholar in the United States and a columnist for current commentators, also believes that the CCP’s move is very strange, but no matter what message it wants to convey, there are two messages that it cannot conceal.
First, the CCP officials who are so-called “fighting against cults” are actually the most evil criminals themselves. They are so evil that the CCP itself cannot tolerate them. Second, the 610 Office is an evil executor of the CCP’s greatest human rights disaster in human history.
Gobidong said that this group of enforcers is actually composed of a group of the most evil people in the CCP. The CCP is under international pressure. Therefore, it specifically indicated that among the criminal officials it handled was the identity of the 610 Office, but this was to convey a complex deceptive message to confuse the international community and create public opinion for the propaganda of lies.
Gobidong said that the CCP cannot conceal it. For more than 20 years, it has cruelly persecuted countless kind Falun Gong practitioners. The real culprit of this disaster is the CCP regime, not just a few political and legal departments and 610 officials.
