Afinia announced in a statement that will suspend the energy service in several municipalities of Cesar, including Valledupar, and southern Magdalena for the execution of various works to strengthen the electrical networks in this region.

The service will be suspended in several circuits, starting this Monday, January 29 and ending on Wednesday the 31st at different times.

These are the municipalities where there will be power interruption.

MONDAY, JANUARY 29

-Salguero Circuit 3: Afinia will continue with the network renovation and equipment installation work among the 7:00 am and 9:00 am, tasks that require the suspension of energy service on 24th Street with race 21 from the 1 de Mayo neighborhood in Valledupar.

-Valledupar Circuit 7: The operators will install semi-direct measurement equipment, an activity that requires suspending the electrical flow from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, to users located in the sectors surrounding the highway to La Mesa kilometer 15; and in the sectors surrounding the highway to Tierras Nuevas kilometer 23 between 2:30 pm and 5:45 pm

-Line 566: The installation of new structures, assembly and preventive actions continues, activities that require the interruption of service from the 6:45 am until 5:45 pm, in the Aguas Blancas and Mariangola districts of Valledupar.

-La Jagua 2 Circuit: to install measurement equipment, Afinia will suspend the electrical flow of 11:00 a.m. a 2:30 p.m.in La Victoria de San Isidro on Calle 2 A with Carrera 2, Los Fundadores neighborhood sector, in La Jagua de Ibirico.

-Step: operational personnel will carry out optimization work on transformer No. 2 of the El Paso substation, activities that require the suspension of service on the El Paso 1, El Paso 2 and Line 593 circuits, from 5:00 am to 10:00 am., time that the urban and rural area of ​​the El Paso municipality will be without energy.

Likewise, the following districts of Valledupar will also be without power: Guaimaral, El Perro, sectors surrounding the Cuatro Vientos – Codazzi road and sectors surrounding the La Estación – El Perro road. The towns of Minguillo, Sabana del Medio and San José de Oriente in the rural area of ​​La Paz will also be without electricity.

At the same time, the electricity supply will also be interrupted on Line 594, which supplies energy to the urban and rural area of ​​the Astra and Chimichagua municipalities in Cesar.

In Magdalena the following sectors of Santa Ana will not have power: Nicaragua, La Esmeralda, La Libertad, Coral Negro, Todos Los Santos, Pijiño del Carmen Casa de Tabla, Las Flores, El Veintiocho, San Isidro, El Seis, Santa Rosa de La Mountain and sectors surrounding the Astrea – San Sebastián road. Bank Communities: El 22 village, Sabaneta village road, La Fortaleza village, Hinguesas village, Menchiquejo road, Cedro township, Guayabal road, villages: Sabana de Venado, Cuatro Esquina, Los Narváez, Tres Bocas, road to Las Mulas, El Trébol, Santa Fe, Las Flores, Betel, La Unión and Santa Elena.

In addition, an operational team will carry out general maintenance on the power transformer at the Simana substation. To carry out this activity, the energy service will be interrupted from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, in the urban and rural areas of the La Gloría municipality.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 30

-Guatapurí Circuit 3: between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, they will suspend electricity in the neighborhood The Cortijos of Valledupar to renew medium and low voltage networks, reinforcements, posts and elements in the network.

-Valledupar Circuit 7: to carry out network and equipment optimization work, the electricity supply will be interrupted between the 9:45 am and 5:45 pm, in the sectors surrounding the highway via La Mesa – Mamón kilometer 13.

-New Granada Circuit 1: From 12:14 pm to 3:44 pm, the energy service will be suspended in Nueva Granada, La Gloria district, Calle Principal sector.

-New Granada Circuit 1 (Magdalena): Users on Main Street in the La Gloria district, Jurisdiction of Nueva Granada, will be without power from 12:40 pm to 4:00 pm.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31

To install semi-direct measurement equipment, Afinia scheduled the following works in Valledupar:

-Valledupar Circuit 4: From 9:45 am to 1:15 pm the power will be suspended on Carrera 42 and Calle 12 in the Brisas de La Popa neighborhood.

-Valledupar Circuit 7: from 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm, in the sectors surrounding the Tierras Nuevas road kilometer 23.

-La Jagua 2 Circuit: From 12:45 pm to 6:00 pm, the energy service will be interrupted in the sectors surrounding Minas Yervabuena de La Jagua de Ibirico.

-San Ángel Circuit (Magdalena): technical personnel will install new poles and build medium voltage 7:40 am to 5:45 pm, tasks that require suspending the service during the scheduled time in the rural sector of the road El Pueblito, El Manantial, La Escondida.
