In an operation that included valuable information provided by citizens who were members of the Support Network, The Huila Police managed to capture an individual known as “Nando” in flagrante delicto.who carried a firearm in the middle of a public street in Guadalupe.

The arrest was carried out after receiving a call to the police station alerting about the suspicious presence of a man carrying a firearm. The quadrant police officers responded immediately and headed to Calle 4 and Carrera 9, where they located “Nando.” When conducting a personal search, it was discovered that he had with him a revolver with 6 cartridges, of which 5 had already been fired.

The detainee, a 35-year-old man, was taken into custody and later delivered to the URI Prosecutor’s Office of the municipality of Garzón. He faces charges for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
