The strike by Lufthansa ground staff has affected over 100,000 of the airline’s passengers since this morning. The focus of the strike action is Frankfurt am Main and Munich. While around 400 flights were canceled in Munich alone, passengers at Nuremberg Airport got off lightly. Only four flight connections to and from Frankfurt have been canceled. The reason: Lufthansa does not have its own ground staff in Nuremberg.
